Motor rewind problem

I've wound a half dozen of these www.gobrushless.com motors, they work well. Only problem, winding your own motor now days is more expensive than just buying one ready to use.

Hopefully some of you guys still monitor this thread...a related question I need help with, please.
When winding a BLDC motor, how difficult is it to wind the motor with partial turns as opposed to full turns i.e. 5.5T as opposed to 6T?
My actual application is a MAC ebike motor but figured the answer is fairly universal.
Thanks

Partial turns are the same, and you count them as partial turns.
Every extra length adds to the magnetic field, because it's about the circular magnetic field around the wire.
