I figured that coupling would be the way to go. Man, you're sure investing a lot of mod time for this $20.00 plane. Dying to hear flight report.

Gonna fly mine today. It's now my warm up plane.

A prelude to the Mig-21 80mm handful, the 64mm F/A-18 ,70mm RC Lander F9F Panther and 70mm A7 Super Corsair that I plan to bring to the field today. Batteries charging so I don't have to wast too much time when I get there.

It was a surprise how good it was to fly. I have expensive models and cheapos ... as all know. This thing just FLIES !!

Its an absolute ball to fly and it just comes back for more.

I reckon this may become my second Show Model ... the Hummer is my first ...

Holy Moly !!

I braved the light rain and bit of wind and cold ...

Hawk ... believe me ... FIT RUDDERS AND coupled ailerons ... WOW WOW WOW !!

BUT those rudders are SO powerful ... they need taming right back !

The coupled ailerons are just blinding !!

I have a couple of videos which I will process ... hope they come out.

Great to hear ! Looking forward to vids.

Funny, guys at the field ask me if I built the Mig-29 from scratch. And when I tell them I got it ARF from HK for about $20 bucks, their jaws drop.

Cheers,

Hawk

Roll rate?

Blinding ! And sort of --- I better turn that down !

All the video is on reduced rates .... I didn't need to switch to high ! Next flight I will wear my brown trousers and give high rate a go !

If they fly anything like the Mig ... gotta be good ...

Nicely done. Mine doesn't perform quite as good but good enough. She's now my warm-up plane to get the fingers nimble and the juices flowing.

Having already traced out onto Depron the parts just in case ... wondering what a 50mm EDF would do in her ?
