Mark,

Hi Mark,

Welcome to WF ! Considering this is an electric forum , you may be better off searching on RC Groups. You're taking about a rather large, heavy and powerful gasser. I heard Hangar 9 might be coming out with a big Spitty and I know Phoenix is planning one too but not sure about the 2 meter WS or if it's a Mk 9.

Might check Tower Hobby, Top-Flight, Hangar 9 World Models, VQ Models. Probably won't see one on Hobby King.

Good luck !

As hawk .. says - best on a IC Fuel listing such as Rc Groups or if UK ... RCMF etc.

Nigel,

Great find ! Never expected HK would have something like this. Add another USD 6 to $700 and you'd have a gorgeous plane. Way over my RC budget.

I often fly with guys with 33 ... 50cc models and I want one !! I limit to 15cc because of size .. but .... there is something about the big gasoline job ... and yes that Spit seriously wets my appetite .. but it's over my budget as well.

In 1980's - there was the Mick Reeves Hurricane in UK ... nice big job .. flew nice on a 60 ... but stick a decent 4 stroker in her and she was a beaut ! Always wanted one ... proper build like the real one as well ... stringers on formers ! with cloth covering.
