Almost lost mine again when she departed controlled flight and don’t Know why...we do get anomalies which occur in that same location. Only damage to the gear and prop, along with the engine disassembly to remove dirt and gravel. She is airworthy again. Still not sure why loss of signal but made some precautionary adjustments with antenna placement and ESC cooling. I lost the signal about the same place before and a few others make mention of the same area causing them to lose control as well.
And as luck would have it, I had the RunCam going in order to get a shot with all who were attending our impromptu event, [email protected]
To summarize, lost power added power and got it - briefly - then no power and no response on the stick as she nosed down.

Default 3 Engine version with aileron

So look what turned up on an FB / RC website.
MEN Trainer with 3 engine option...
Never thought of that - thought it was a single OR a twin!

The plane is almost a powered glider in the first place, why would you put 3 motors on it?
The size of those motors seem excessive.

It might be cute with 3 TeeDee .049's mostly for the sound.

Mine is far from a glider - about 4 pounds. Likes the runway on landing because it takes forever to slow it down. While it doesnít really stall - it just sinks.
Not sure where the guy got it, but hope to hear more about his experience.

I don't think he "got it" from any where, I have never seen any multi engined MEN trainers.

As a trainer, the last thing you need is how to handle 2 motors.

I would expect it to have been a "Hey I've got a crazy Idea" moment.
I think his wing engines could have been cowled in better or something.

I have a straight shaped wing kit I bought for $5, it was for something like a Falcon 56. It is going to become a twin engine sort Cessna 310 or similar.

That is the actual design on the plans for the multi engine version.

My plans and the instruction book do not show anything other than the single engine plane.
I think my kit is an early version, so maybe they had not thought of that yet.

Twin electric might be a fun idea. I'll have to think on that.

Take a look at sheet two, the multi-engine layout......

Never saw that, all I have is an original kit.

Yes it is.

I don't care for it much, I'll leave mine a single.

You might be able to get it with out shipping, that would give you an advantage.
It worked for me one time.

f-22, I was responding to a illustration that was used earlier in this post, in a subtile manner. Giving a thumbs or a happy smile for the illustration, the illustration was indeed interesting....
