Default "5EZP" MOCKING-JAY VTOL from "Hunger Games"

I din't know if this is the correct name for it but it's what I'm calling it.
The VOL aircraft seen in the new Hunger Games Movie "MOCKING-JAY".
Here are the pics I found and my initial "5EZP" plan for it.
I imagine it to be much like my "5EZP" Boeing FX-II Sea Eagle.

Almost looks like a F-117 with a hole in it.

It will be interesting to see what you come up with.

The rending of foam begins…
Upon reflection I revised the trailing edge of the wing.
I left the center cut-out in for alignment purposes.
It will be cut out later.

Given that I saw no sign of steering commands during your glide tests. I am assuming you had no RC equipment installed, yet your design shows very good stability, for a strange shape with almost no vertical stabilizers.

I believe you have a good plane that will fly great and turn a lot of heads at the field.

I am looking forward to the plans PDF

Thank you for sharing your designs, I will be building several of them.

Thanks Wildflyer.
I always test with minimal or no controls surfaces.
I think this will fly just like my Boeing FX-II Sea Eagle which it is quite similar to my Boeing FX-II Sea Eagle.

Here is a vid of my Sea Eagle.

Finally the wild winds calmed to [email protected] 7, gusting to 17 this afternoon so I took my "Five Easy Piece" Capitol Peacekeeper Bomber from the film "Mockingjay" out for her maiden flight. Whoa, did I have the CG wrong. I taped a AA battery to her nose , moved the li-po another inch forward, and added some down elevator to get her to fly.
My attempt to give the Bomber some additional details in the from of a double layered fantail proved to be problematic. This seemed to create some instability and the scale elevons were too much as well despite a 20% expo.
Not entirely happy with the maiden but I've learned from it. The crash busted her up pretty good.
I'm going to build another one with what I've learned from this one. This should fly as well as my "5EZP" Boeing FX-II Sea Eagle. We shall see.

Mockingjay Capitol peacekeeper Bomber II glide tests.
My second attempt at this model. This time I got the CG right and tested it with the motor and Li-po onboard to make sure I got it right.

Really amazing! I don't suppose you have plans available for the Mocking-Jay? I would love to build and fly one.

Hopefully very soon.
I've built it twice and I think I have got the pattern debugged now.

Here is another flight of it.
