Do you have Amps and Volts on your setup??? I'm assuming its three 3S1P batteries in series?

Denny,

With the 20x10 pop and the 160 motor, I was pulling 57 amps at about 33.3 volts full throttle on the bench.

Actually my batteries are 3 5500 3 cell in series.

Just found this thread. I have the larger R&R Snapper (96" IIRC) and it is a great flier with a Q50...would be interesting to see how it flies with electric power...I have had it for over 25 years - bought from a flying buddy way back when. Cool to see another!

Thumbs up

MIKE,

I haven't flown it in years. I will post pics in the near future; I'm working out of town and will have to get it down and snap some pics the next time I'm home. The plane needs a good inspection from sitting and new batteries, but will be flyable with little effort and I plan on it next spring or before. I had contemplated changing the engine out for one of the newer 55/60CC size engines, due to weight and power. The Q50 flies it nice, but the plane weighs over 25 pounds and would benefit from shedding a couple pounds and picking up a couple horsepower!

Do you still have the plans/instructions for the smaller one? I don't have them for mine as I bought it from a flying buddy and never got them back then...yours is the only other one I've ever seen.

Have a Blessed Day!
George

I converted it to electric. When I built it I put Bombay doors in it. I donít think I want to sell it.
