Hi, looking for advice for a motor for a sebart mythos 125e, just brought a new arf and looking for a motor, I've just brought a new tomcat g110 from my local hobby shop on sale very cheaply, I was wondering if I could achieve the started max watts of 2200, would this motor be enough or should I stop being cheap and get the hacker which is x4 the price, thanks in advance

In my experience, you should be able to get the power with other brands of motors, but you may not get the same life of the motor.
People tell me Hacker use better bearings and better wire, and better magnets. How much of that is really true I have no idea.
I have a couple of E-flite 480 motors, and I have a Hobbyking 480. I have compared them side by side with a magnifying glass. They are absolutely the same motor as far I can see, even the same machining marks on the lathe cut parts, so I am certain they came out of the same machine, yet people tell me the E-flite is a better motor.
I have a motor claiming to be a power 160 equivalent, I got it for $10.00 brand new on a sale, someday I will put it in something big and we will see.
