Hi,
I thought I would post some information on the Rocket City Florida club.
Our flying site is located on the east side of the Orlando area with easy access from Hwy-50 as well as I-95.
You will find a real mix of aircraft - both electric and fuel - micro and giant.
You can get an idea of the flying site and the great condition it is kept in by viewing some of the videos.
Our club meetings are generally on the first Saturday of the month at 10:00 am.
Here is the website: www.rocketcityfl.com
Hope to see you there!

Paul,
Thanks for sharing your lovely RC Club.
I have visited the web site you posted the link to and I found the membership application saying the initiation fee is $50.00 and $120 for adults so, that is a grand total of $170.00 due at the next club meeting correct?
Also, do you have the Club's By-Laws posted anywhere as I just can not find them at the web site you provided the link.
Thank you.
Carlos

Yep, your math is right but we did have a small surcharge in 2011. The $50 is a onetime initiation fee. On the other hand, the next meeting is in 2012. I'm afraid that while all members in 2011 paid the assessment, and I would guess that the assessment won't be charged in 2012 (we're in good financial shape), I'm not in authority and it would be an issue on which the membership vote - like we did for the 2011 assessment ($25 or something like that).
There are always some club officers at the field on Saturdays and you can find contact information for Art on the club website. He would be a good one for specific questions.
