Hi - when I connected my battery on my slow stick yesterday, it kind of went into spasms. The rudder and elevator were moving back and forth without input from the transmitter.
I unplugged the battery and plugged it back in several times and finally gor the correct ESC signal and all was calm.
It was flying fine for a while and then when I was about 4-500 ft up, it suddenly decided to head for the ground. Luckily I was able to get under control (by moving controls every which way) and it straightened out at about 50 ft
. Brought it safely to a landing, but don't want to fly it again until I resolve this problem.
I don't think it was caused by interference by another transmitter. We live in an airpark and no one else here flies RC models.
Any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting this problem will be greatly appreciated.....

What kind of radio? Frequency? Brand of receiver? More info is needed.
In any case, 2.4 ghz radio systems will prevent this and even prevent you from crashing.
While on the ground, you did turn the radio on first before plugging in the battery, yes?

Laggard - Thanks for reply.
Radio is GWS GWT4AH, Receiver is Hitec Micro 05S.
Yes, turned on radio prior to connecting battery....
