Default Astro Blinky works just fine with E-Flite batteries

I was tinkering in the workshop this evening and decided to go through my batteries for the various helis I own. Since I never got a charger with my CX I bought used I've been charging the pack with a GP PolyCharge unit. Since it's not a balancing charger I was getting worried about the packs and their state of balance.

Blinky to the rescue. It just works. Plug it in with the negative pin to the black wire and it just blinks until done.

Seems the older pack I have was well out of balance....

I just got a BLINKY today and I am trying it out on a 3 cell pack that is 1800 maH...
Question: How long does it take for the Blinky to balance a pack?... the pack was charged yesterday and it is almost new. It was charged with the balancing charger that comes with ParkZone airplanes.
When I first connected the Blinky, 3 lights turned on and in about 2 seconds, one of the lights went out and the other 2 have been blinking for about 30 minutes...
I hope the Blinky is working OK...
