The "Most Senior Male Pilot" for this year, Ed Martin, who is 83.

Now we need the "Youngest Femalel".
No one has posted or mentioned her, so if any has a picture of a young lady who has flown the SQuiRT, please send it to Frank.

We still have 25 days left to get her entered in the 2010 Photo Collage.

Thanks,
Don

Update from pilot #250.

Just to update everyone, the SQuiRT has stalled in Portland area. Winds simply to high to fly. hopefully it will fly soon as the weather is to transition to rain and winds will die down.

Default "Old Timer"

Eut,
Thanks for the "not quite".
You are, so far the record holder of the 2010 Most Senior Pilot, unless someone else can surpass that.
Congratulations,
Don

Really great production.
I loved the slow overlapping dissolves, nice technique.
The special effect of the paper-airplane was awesome.
It was truly "WAA-wonderful".
Thanks for making it and sharing,
Don

BTW guys, I'm working in the WAA-08 2010 Photo Collage and assembling the photos Frank has sent me during the year. If you haven't sent in your photo and want it to be included in the collage, now's the time to do it. This will be the 3rd collage and will be a tribute to all of our pilots this year.
A quality, non-fading, semi-matte finish 16x20 print will be produced by Winkfash, just like the 2008 and 2009 versions.
I'll let you know when it will be available for ordering.
Winkflash ships the poster(s) in a durable tube, directly to your home.
Including everyone in the collage is a lot of fun and portrays all the enthusiasm and what a great adventure it has been.

The SQuiRT has just made it to her 35th state!

She now resides with pilot #253 from the Flaming Geyser Flyers.

Our "Youngest Female Pilot for 2010", (age unknown), unless there is a photo of someone younger than this "Amelia", only 12 days left to find her.

Breaking News:

Just a quick note from Flaming Geyser Park. The airplane has gotten Washington air beneath her wings. Dick Weaver was here to observe but will take his turn to fly in sequence. Cool, overcast, but no rain. The airplane flew nicely but the wash-in is back. More and pics later.

Bernard. (Pilot #253)

Man, I came to post the story and it is already here! How did you find out the article?

The local paper was very gracious. They did several articles on the SkyKnights club involving a full page overall.

A friend of mine turned me on to something called Google Alerts.

http://www.google.com/alerts

It works really well. Just add what you want Google to search for and you get an email notification.

Thanks for the PR work Gregg.

The SQuiRT is now at her northern most stop in the US. She is waiting for a break in the wind with pilot #256, Steve K in Bellingham, WA.
