Default One plane + 4 pilots = disaster or fun???

Im not sure where to post this as its a little off-the-wall, but here goes

A buddy of mine and I were BSing the other day and he mentioned an idea he has had for a long time - having 2 pilots fly the same plane at the same time.

His idea was to use 2 tx's and 2 rx's on different channels with each pilot controlling a different set of controls on the same plane at the same time.

One pilot could have elevator and throttle for example while the other one has rudder and aileron - or any combo you want.

I thought that sounded like an absolute hoot but as we talked it over it occurred to us - why stop at 2 pilots? Why not have seperate pilot for EACH control surface???

So, thats what we are going to do! Our club has an annual "Wild-n-Wacky" fly-in in the spring, so we are going to have it ready by then

I think we will have the guy on throttle be the "captain" of the ship, calling out maneuvers and giving directions to the other guys during the flight.

We are going to build a fairly large, cheap, slow flying trainer type foamy and give it a shot.

The plan is to do the maiden and trimming flights as normal - one pilot on all controls. Once the plane is dialed in, we will try 2 pilots, then add a third then add the forth - assuming the plane survives that long!!

I think this is going to be a LOT of fun if we can pull it off

Now..... to go hunting for spare servos, motor, esc etc, that I dont mind crashing with.....

Some time ago,
Chip Hyde came to our MWE event. He brought his son.

They flew a profile P-38 lightning that way.

Each half of the airplane, was fully in control by one pilot, and completely independent from the other pilot.

Each pilot had:

throttle
1 aileron
1 rudder
1 aileron

They flew it pretty well... lots of practice.

That might even be more dificult than what we are trying. if one pilot wants to turn left while the other wants to turn right, you get either flaps or spoilers instead!

Default Name that plane??

Im finally getting around to starting the build on this crazy model and Ive run into a dilemma.

What should I call it? Im considering a few options but I would appreciate some suggestions. None of mine seem quite perfect.

Split Person-ality
Psycho-babel
Wrong Way Mulligan
Peter Paul Mary and Dr Jeckle
Oops!
All together now

and

NO!NO!NO! Your OTHER left!

Any and all good ideas will be considered

By the way - its going to be 1/2" blue foam, sort of vaguely stand(way)off scale cubbish looking, profile with under cambered wings and lots of wing area. Should be a nice sloooow flyer
