Mine is 18oz!!! My WWE action figure pilot sure isn't helping the AUW, especially since I have to use a 4oz 3S 1500 so it balances. But with the Atlas 2312/09 (basically a Park400 clone) and an 11x3.8, it still does all the fun 3D stuff, and it handles the wind with ease.

Well since I can't maiden my real plane I decided to make a version of it for RealFlight G3. I made it as close as I possibly could to my real one using all of the actual weights, measurements, and motor stats. Thanks for the awesome build write-up, Not to mention the G3X file. I agree, this is a combination sale that I just can't pass up!
Ultimate Fx/Park 400 BL Motor Combo for $65!

I don't think this deal will last for long.

I just ordered this plane and then I ran across this forum and found your G3X file. I just imported them and I am trying it out now. I am curious...now that you have flown it, how close is the G3 version to the real thing? Thanks!

You might want to check out this model
http://www.knifeedge.com/forums/down...do=file&id=729

It was recently updated to work with G3.5. The version up here is for the older G3.

An updated color scheme is available here.

I think the my original was actually quite close to reality. At least as much as G3 can simulate. I've tried the updated version in G3.5 and I think it's a little bit more powerful than my version was but apparently nothing changed powersystem wise from my version. It's pretty close though I think,

Thanks! I tried them both and they both fly great. If the real thing flies anywhere near as well I will be thrilled.

I have a Park 400 4200 inrunner and a couple of Thunder Power 3C 2100 MA lipos. I would like to be able to reuse these in the Ultimate bipe, but it is obviously more power than needed and added weight. Does anyone think it might work...or am I just asking for trouble?

-Update
Now that I have received the kit i see there is no way the big battery will fit in the compartment. I guess I'll have to drop another $50 or so on a new lipo. Lipos are great...but man they hurt my wallet.
