Default New Product - 3D Hobby Shop Velox Revolution 47"

This was just posted today in RCGroups:

Announcing - The 3DHobbyShop 47" Velox Revolution.

Coming this winter - the no-compromises, 3S or 4S aerobatic machine that has all the really wild tumbling of a short-coupled plane (and then some) as well as the very, very stable hover and torque rolling ability of a long airplane. Extremely stable upright harrier without rock is combined with point-and-go blast and the great tracking and authority of airfoiled tail surfaces.

Features:

Scott Stoops developed airframe including the Stoops wing.
Really excellent craftsmanship from our partner factory.
Removable SFGs (but you won't want to remove them).
Phenolic horns/ball link hardware
Pre-installed blind nuts for motor mounting.
Spring-loaded canopy latch.
Carbon wing spar tube.
Very quick build.
Available in Red and Blue versions.

Recommended for:

Torque 2818T-900 / 3S 2000-2200 20C / XOAR 13x6-13x8 PJN prop
Great 3D and precision, really easy hover.

Torque 2814T-820 / 4S 2000-2200 20C / XOAR 12x6-12x8 PJN prop
Awesome power, blast out of hover and fly fast.

ARF - $159.99

Power combos will be available. Full specs and expected delivery information coming later in the month." ----Ben Fisher 3dHobbyShop.com (Blucor Basher)
Quiet RC Flying will be carrying 3D Hobby Shop planes and plan to carry this model when it becomes available. Expected "just in time" for Christmas.

These will be in tomorrow, but are on our site ready for purchase now. Orders placed today and tomorrow (Monday Dec. 10th) will be shipped Tuesday provided they are delivered as scheduled. We have a very limited supply as we had some pre-orders to take care of.

The reviews on RCGroups show this plane is unbelievable.

We are offering it with just the kit for $159.99, with a Torque 2814T/820 and Airboss 45 Elite ESC for $140 more, or with a Hacker A30-14L and the X-40 SB Pro ESC for $145 more. You won't be dissapointed. If you go to 4S for unbelievable power, they recommend using HS-65MG servos instead of the HB. We also have larger servo arms for the HS-65 servos from 3D Hobby Shop, so you can get more movement on the control surfaces for stunning 3D maneuvers.

Check it out today. Take a look at the thread on RCGroups to see what others are saying about this great plane!

Wow, I've been following this thread on rcgroups, and this is a fantastic plane. I should be picking mine up early next year after buildling up the finances, but the videos of this thing are just SICK!

Should be a fantastic plane, and an easy build as all other 3dhs products are!

No kidding! They came in yesterday and since the manuals needed to be added to the box, I opened them all up. While I did not want to disturb the items that were taped down, what I could see was pretty nice! I like the blue, but thats just personal preference. One of my customers who bought the plane direct added one of our Hacker A30-14L motors with the X-55 SB Pro ESC and was very happy with the resuts. He did the recommended 12x6e prop on 4S and was very happy, then went to a Zoar 14x7 and liked that even better, though you can over AMP the motor if you are not carefull with a prop that big. Hacker recommends 13x6.5e for 3S and 12x5e for 4S. Though he only ever needed full power for 2 or 3 seconds to get a maneuver started. The recommended Torque motor is an excellent choice too. Most of the videos are using that setup.
