Cool Motor Help

I recently purchased a cub at a swap meet and discovered that the motor has no manufacturer identification.. It came with a 70 AMP ESC.
I'm hoping someone can identify it from the picture.
Thanks in advance

Maybe one of these. Hard to say though as there are hundreds of Chinese companies selling motors, most are re-branded version out of the same factories.

What specific info are you looking for?

Thanks,

I want to be sure I know what I have and that it will be OK for the cub.

I'll look through their motors and see if I can find a match based on what I know.

Conservative rule of thumb for max.motor power: 3watt/gram. That will get you in the ball-park.

Four simple methodes for determining Kv
www.bavaria-direct.co.za
→ motor constants
→ Kv

Kv (expressed in rpm/volt) greatly effects current, very disproportional.
Minor changes/differences can have huge effects:
Motorcurrent is proportional to pitch¹ (simplified), voltage², Kv³ and diameter⁴.
Power drawn is proportional to pitch¹, voltage³, Kv³ and diameter⁴.

3S or 4S?

At 70 amps and a 900KV motor is a beast at 700 to 1000 watts. If I had to guess the ESC is over sized based on the 900 KV rating. Something like a Power Up 25 Sport from Heads Up RC.
