Default brushless in runner shaft swap

Hello all!

I recently purchased several different 12mm sized inrunners from HobbyKing (turnigy 1220, 1230, and BL1230) which have 2.00mm shafts that taper to 1.48mm where you would attach a prop or gear to. I need a 2mm shaft the entire length but don't know how to open these motors as there is no obvious way to take them apart. Does anyone have any experience or advice?

On Turnigy motors that I have had to reverse shafts you just remove the keeper ring and collette and hammer it out or put in a vice and press.

INRUNNER > the shaft is generally fused/glued/permanently-attached to the rotating magnets. Chances are you are out of luck for shaft replacement.

Here's how you open them:
Motor Shaft Replacement

Best bet is something like Chellie is suggesting below.
