hey all, I've been meaning to post this for awhile. if anybody here needs Deans connectors or knockoffs (like T-plugs) the best place I've found for the price is goodluckbuy.com. Normally I don't buy from them, but check out what they're selling;
http://www.goodluckbuy.com/index.php...=deans&x=0&y=0 10 sets deans connectors w/ heat shrink for $3.85 and free shipping
http://www.goodluckbuy.com/deans-con...tube-x100.html50 sets deans connectors w/ heat shrink for $16.62 and free shipping
just so next time you don't spend $8 for 5 sets of connectors. I'm not associated with that store in any way, so this isn't an endorsement for them.

Max,
Ever ordered from them before? I assume they are a Chineese operation but can't find their address on the site. I was wondering how reliable they are to deal with and since everything is "FREE SHIPPING" what kind of turn around to expect. I saw your link in another post and was checking them out, seems like some decent deals. Ever used the "GE" lipo batteries? under $15 for a 30C battery not too bad if they as good as the other like batteries from HK.

chappy; haven't used those "GE" lipos, but I haev ordered from goodluckbuy before. Shipping is what you would expect from a chinese dealer-rather slow. I think I got my stuff in 1 or two weeks? It was awhile ago. Anyways, I ordered a few things from them and everything came as promised, no damage. In fact, I think the accidentally sent me two of something I ordered one of
overall, I'd rather buy from somewhere else but there's nothing wrong with goodluckbuy
hope this helps

It seems there are 100 sites exactly like this - I have been ordering stuff from http://dealextreme.com for more than a year and other than a long lead time from HK, they are solid.

I ordered a bunch of these from Deal Extreme. These look good but they won't work with real deans plugs. Just a bit off so don't plan on mixing and matching these t-plugs and deans. I have deans on many of my batteries and now need to change them all out or sell these.

I received mine and they are not as large as Deans, especially the male side. A lot less plastic therefore less to grab on to to connect/disconnect. At a glance they look like they might mate with Deans but have not tried it yet. I'm not real impressed.

I had heard that Deans went after some vendors for using their name, when selling knock offs.

hi Bill G,
under the description for the products it says;
- ______ # of MALE side of T connector
- ______ # of FEMALE side of T connector
- ______ # of Shrink Tubing (Red & Black)
so really, they're just saying "deans plugs!" to get people's interest...I can see why Deans would go after them!

My friends have found that these knockoffs will warp when you try to solder to them. To make them work they stuck them together, male/female then soldered them. That is if they can be soldered, some have bad metal in them and can't be tinned before soldering.
I avoid them. I buy the real thing.
