It's been a while since whe've seen a motor-design/built completely from scratch, in this case for a Daimler Benz DB Jäger, and it includes the stator design:

I really like pusher puller pairs. I had a design all drawn up for a plane using two .40 sized electric motors with 16" and 18" counter rotating props that were mid fuse mounted with 1/2" dowel pairs almost like a p38. One of these days I'll get around to it.
