Default Sebart Katana 30 - a bit overweight!!!!!!

Just out of interest I weighed the component parts of my finished (yet to fly) Katana s30e.
The spec says the stock weight with a 3s 2100 pack is just 1200g.
Mine has a 4s 2100 pack - that adds around 30g, yet to AUW is 1387g. That's a good 15% overweight !

I'm sure that even 1/2 a bottle of Zap CA doesn't weigh 150g and I'm using a Spektrum AR6200 Rx which is pretty light too - so I wonder where Sebart get their low weight from.

Oh well, its not a show stopper, I'm sure it will still fly great at 1387g.

On a positve note, both wings weighed the same to within less than 1g

Just need some good weather now

I suspect that extra cell weighs more than 30g, mine do. What did you cover with?

Ok, thanks guys, so 48 Oz is ball park ok for this aircraft then. I was going by the weight quoted on the kit box, which said 1200g.
