I'm only doing it 'cuz the plane I pulled apart to make it from was a twin-engine tractor so I thought I'd give 'er a try. I've made a ton of wings, but they've all been pushers.
The weather was windy and gusty today - the wrong day for maidens. So, I tried to maiden it ('cuz I'm dumb and impatient) and busted the
out of it. Broke a motor mount, stripped a servo, destroyed the winglets, munged up the propellers, etc. etc.
So ... gluing it all back together tonight. I'll try to wait for actual decent weather before making another try.

Today went MUCH better. I put three batteries through it and finally got the CG just where I want it. I then promptly pulled the battery out without marking its position, like an idiot. :/

The only thing -- MPF from Model Plane Foam. (www.modelplanefoam.com) This is RL Adams' precision foam in the standard two foots by four foots sheet size. Once I discovered this stuff several years ago I pretty much dropped Depron, FFF, EPP, and nearly everything else. Yeah, I still use other materials for special needs, but for making airplanes that I will fly it's pretty much MPF all the way.

So taking your photos and chat ...
21" long ... 20" wide ... CoG at 7" back from nose ?
That makes it 30% chord .. mine comes out at 36% chord ...
So mine maybe a bit 'hot to trot' !
