Build Review Pandora problem

Anybody had any experience with Freewing Pandora ? Just put mine together, popped the rx in (optima9), powered up with the recommended 2200May 11.1v lipo, turned on the hitec flash 8 tx, there beeps from the ESC, the motor sort of "shudders", elevator, ailerons and rudder channels all work fine, but nothing from the throttle at all. Any ideas anybody?

Does the motor 'shudder/twitch' in time with the beeps? If so this is normal, it's actually the motor that makes the beeps not the ESC.

If this is the case then you probably just need to calibrate the ESC throttle range:
  • Turn everything off and remove prop
  • Power up the Tx and put throttle to max
  • Now plug in the plane's battery, you should get a beep
  • Close the throttle and you should get a series of beeps

That's it, throttle should now be calibrated and should work.

Option 'b' if that doesnt work is just move the throttle trim on the Tx all the way down which often does the trick.
