Little more info would help, it's hard to tell you what to use without knowing your birds specs.

Here's the info you need:

Motor = 2212-6 2200kv (brand names such as Suppo and RCTimer, search eBay for 2212-6 and you will see many listings, or you can go directly to

ESC = 30Amp (you can get the combo motor/ESC from eBay for as low as $22)

Prop = APC 6X4E

Lipo = 3S 1300-1800 is usually best for that size plane.

Hope this helps.

An add on to Pat's message,

In electric airplanes we do not need "pusher" props. You simply put your normal prop on with the printing facing in the forward direction.

If your brushless motor runs in the wrong direction, just pick any 2 of the wires going from the speed control to the motor, and exchange there positions. The colors of the wires means NOTHING electrically, it's just pretty.

The term "pusher prop" comes from using the glo plug nitro motors, most of which are impossible to reverse, which forces you to find and use a pusher prop if you were making a plane similar to yours.

In electric planes if you are building a twin engine model, THEN a reverse pitch or more properly, a counter-rotating prop is used on one motor to eliminate the toque effect from 2 motors rotating in the same direction. Like a P-38, not all real twins used counter-rotating props, but all of my model twins will use them.
