Ya, there was some classic stuff in that original monkey thread. Then Wilbur got all touchy feely and had it shut down. I dont know how many nights were just spent on that one thread....

I think "Ignore this Thread" is a great place to revive the fun and camaraderie that was the "Every day is Abuse the Monkey Day".

How long until it's moved to the monkey cage?

Sorry, I was in putting the parts of a Super Cub that I bought today, together.

I didn't want all the crudy electronics, so I bought the fuse, cowl, wing, and tail feathers.

It's ready for it's maiden tomorrow.

I plan to use it to teach people to fly.

(if it survives)

there's a place where serious modelers hang out? what is a serious modeler, isn't that an oxymoron? really, all the guys I have met, in the hobby have had a great sense of humor, and enjoy a good time.

There is another forum, where there seems to be too many people who post just to cause trouble. Where the mods give out "warning points" to the people who actually contribute, but seem to allow the septic stirrers free pass.

Yeah, well, he'll be back

I take that back, there is a forum (that I like, but do not participate in) that is for serious modelers, and does have an air of what some might call "stuck up"

but hell, when you sink that kind of money into a hobby....

I HAVE NOT !!

Ok, so, I'm lurking on several forums right now.. I'm rather new.. but trust me, I'm staying here. I'm just gathering information. Trust me I need it.

A new guy buys a Trex 450 se v2 w/a dx7.. I dont even know what the 6 channels do, let alone 7.

Phoenix flight sim gets here Friday Early AM (THANK GOD) and I think my helo gets here today.. not sure.. Wish me luck!

OOh, btw.. anyone know a helo pilot around the South Bend Indiana area? I would like some 1 on 1 time with someone that has a clue.

Thanks !!!!
