So I leave my Super cub radio in the car all night and it is good and cold when I start to use it this morning. Throttle forward to take off and it just fell apart. A new radio is $35 bucks and will have the same problem, a brittle plastic shaft on the linear potentiometer. Does anyone know what value (K/resistence/watt) pot I should select to upgrade this bad design?
Thanks!

Curious - I keep the transmitters in the back of my car in a box and have never had one of the pots break.
Next time I have one on the bench I will measure it for you. (I bought some HZ parts including transmitters and may have a good potentiometer available.)

Cheers Clint! Yeah it was really unexpected. The thing just crumbled in my hand. Probably a good candidate for warranty but frankly I would like to improve it and avoid the issue entirely in the future.
Thanks,
Aaron
