Lost my brother this morning :(
I just got a call from my parents in Michigan that my brother was riding his 2003 Harley Anniversery Addition, to work this morning. He hit a deer and probably died instantly. He was flown by Heli to the hospital where he never regained consiousness. His 51st birthday would have been July 26th. I gave him his first motorcycle 20 years ago. He loved to ride and he went to all the bike events. I am going to miss him this Biketoberfest and the Bike weeks that come and go. His name is Terry and he gave me all of his airplane inventory when he was here last. He got me into RC Airplanes. We are going to really miss him. Love you brother! Matthew

Again, thank-you Mike and everyone, for your kind words. I wish to do the builds of the plane kits he gave me, here at WattFlyer and fly them in his name. He has been an avid RC plane builder and RC flyer for over 20 years. He also had a pilot's license and a Cessna 172 and was flying solo, when over his house, his plane sputtered out of fuel. He told me that he started a down tilt to get the fuel to the pick-up line and his plane started again. He said that he had to more or less, ride thermals to get to the private airport 3 miles away. I guess he was heading into a good wind. He told me that he did have to dead-stick the plane in to land. He said that is when he quit flying the real ones. Can't say that I didn't blaim him. Matt

Sorry to hear that King. I's hard to lose a brother or anyone for that matter. My Bro deid at 50 from a heart attack. I miss him every day, thank God he had 3 great kids that I'm close to. When I see them, I see his face in there eyes. It's kind of conforting.

Sorry about your brother Terry. Its hard losing someone especially a brother. I've been there before man. Thanks for sharing this with us Matt. I'll be looking for your brothers airplane builds when you decide to do so.

Matt, sorry to hear of the passing of your brother. It's sad enough to lose a moto-brother, but it's far, far worse to lose a family member. My thoughts are with you and your family. He would have wanted to see those planes of his fly, so get to it(when the time is right)!

I know there might be much speculation as to why King Cobra shows banned, so I want to explain. King Cobra is a user that was permanently banned and has circumvented this ban to gain access (against TOS). The timing and circumstances couldn't be worse and I regret having to take this action. Some will understand and others won't, and I understand and respect that. Consistency is difficult at times, but is one of the traits that we value providing to our members.
The actions taken in no way diminish King Cobra's loss. The thread will remain open and I hope regardless of the actions taken, everyone continues to show support and offer condolences.

Please note that while the timing of this Ban downright sucks it has been under review for more than a week now. Mike didn't just make this judgment on his own and had 100% of the staff backing it once all the facts were in.
The entire staff feels your lose and wish this had gone another way. The lose of a loved one is always hard to take and we hope you really understand that you have our deepest regrets on this matter.
