I downloaded FMS and bought a cable to connect my Hitec radio to my computer and double-checked the radio is set to ppm. Also downloaded slow stick and easy star models.
For the life of me I can't get the mapping correct -- what should the numbers be from top to bottom to use the easy star and slowstick models for only rudder, elevator, and throttle?
Thanks

You do not map to the model, you map to the controller. Controllers map differently.
Go into the mapping a move one of the sticks in one direction. I have throttle on the left stick up and down. Pick the number of the blue bar that is moving and put it in the throttle number box. Make sure when you move the stick up the blue bar goes up. If not, check the INV box.
Now do the same for the other sticks.
Now calibrate the controller.
Once mapped and calibrated, you'll be ready to go.
