I started a new thread in Wattflyer Extras, under Clubs. Just scroll down to district VIII Oklahoma.
I thought it would be a good idea if people outside of Tulsa Knew how to find us, and what we were about.
Let's find out . We can take turns shooting at my combat foamie .

Yes! After the last couple of weeks I just knew it would be good weather but go figure . Weather permitting are you going to try and make it the 11th?

That is a great idea! Thanks for doing that -- the more the merrier!

EDIT --> Bummer... Wattflyer Extras doesn't work for me... When I click on the link (or the drop down menu icon), nothing happens. Is there somewhere else we can post information about our free club?

Who says you can't fly combat in 15MPH winds? Brett and I had a pretty good round this morning despite the wind. It was actually kind of cool the way we would both be pointed in the wind with little or no forward movement bobbing up and down trying to get at each others streamers .

I sure hope the weather will cooperate next weekend, I can't wait for the next 6+ plane sortie on a nice day .

Ditto! I need some revenge for that streamer cut. I need to work on my combat skills, so that I can put some of those little dead plane kill markings on the side of my plane.

I'm starting an email list to make it easier for me to contact everyone that may be interested in combat. If you didn't receive an email from me today and want your name on the list just let me know and I will add your name .

Hey James thanks for adding the Brewster to the line up. I want to come down this weekend and display afew but the wife works. I will plan better to come to the next one. I have started the build on the Brewster, I decided to do in video instead of photos and typing my tail off. Anyhow guys thanks for adding the Brewster 30, will be fun to see how she does, I got plenty of faith in it as a streamer killer.

Hey JrAce...not sure what your doing, but if you need a 2 cell lipo this will be any lipo labeled as a 7.4 volt output.

Lipo's
3.7.... 1 cell
7.4.... 2 cell
11.1... 3 cell

What will matter and what I think your asking is what size mAh you need. If you are planning to fly Tulsa combat, since they run what looks to be 5 minute heats...you want a lipo that will do that fly time plus some to make up for you running full throttle to keep from getting a cut streamer LoL. So your needing to fly atleast 7 minutes or more. Think of the mAh as your fuel tank..the higher the mAh the longer your up. I'm not sure of the motor your using but a 1000mAh 7.4 volt or higher will do you just fine I'm sure. I myself like around 1300.

A chilly start but 5-10MPH winds and warming up to 69 by noon...should be perfect for some combat .
