I received the Motor and ESC in the mail today from Jeff at Heads Up RC. Nice little motor. It reminds me of the Komodo motor I used on my MM Switchback.
Here are a few photos of the prizes available for 1st and 2nd place. Doesn't look like we have enough entrants for a 3rd place prize.

Give ya guys an idea of that motors power(is it like the hobbycity 2500kv motor?)
the one i have(had it broke) looks exactly like that, ran on 5x3 prop, pulled my AP stick plane AUW around 12-15oz, and i could fly on a 3c 1000mah lipo for about 20misn... pretty nice...
could be a great powerplant for a fast wing or a pusher jet..
ok so the equipment im using is from an old old plane
all > know is that the motor is brushed and flies really slow how would i classify it? also how would i find the weight of my plane
The motor sounds like it fits in this category. Can you bring the plane to your local post office? They usually have scales. Or maybe, if you can find something that weighs 25 ounces and compare the weight, that will work also.
Hi Everyone, Got my plane done today, I started on it at about noon time, and got done with it about 9:00pm , will maiden it tomorrow or the next day, BTW, How do you send PICS of your Plane on the e Mail here on Wattflyers, I dont see any provision for it, like to get a pic and video to Frank, Take care, Chellie

Frank, does the plane have to be a totally new design?
Can it be an update or improvement of an existing design as long as it's an original design?
Paul
Paul,
The design needs to be original. For example, you couldn't extend the wings of an Easy Star since the design is already on the market. It has to be an all original design and just changing the wing area does not make it your original design.
You can PM me what you are thinking I'll let you know if it will meet the intent of this contest.
