Default Prizes

I received the Motor and ESC in the mail today from Jeff at Heads Up RC. Nice little motor. It reminds me of the Komodo motor I used on my MM Switchback.

Here are a few photos of the prizes available for 1st and 2nd place. Doesn't look like we have enough entrants for a 3rd place prize.

Give ya guys an idea of that motors power(is it like the hobbycity 2500kv motor?)
the one i have(had it broke) looks exactly like that, ran on 5x3 prop, pulled my AP stick plane AUW around 12-15oz, and i could fly on a 3c 1000mah lipo for about 20misn... pretty nice...

could be a great powerplant for a fast wing or a pusher jet..

When you get your plane finished, PM me with your email address and I'll send you an email to send the pics.

Anyone have some in progress photos they want to post? Same thing applies. PM me your email address and I'll shoot you an email.

Cool!

The motor sounds like it fits in this category. Can you bring the plane to your local post office? They usually have scales. Or maybe, if you can find something that weighs 25 ounces and compare the weight, that will work also.

Default Entry #1 -The Centaurus

Here we have entry #1. This plane is called the Centaurus and I have been told it flies exactly like a trainer should fly. Slow and predictable.

Nah, looks to me like that pilot had everything under control and was just demonstrating how awesome his creation flies.

Looks to me he wanted to be the "Firstest with the Mostest" and scare the competition away.

Here's another video of the same plane going through some "beginner" torture tests. Anyone able to top this plane?

Frank, does the plane have to be a totally new design?
Can it be an update or improvement of an existing design as long as it's an original design?

Paul,

The design needs to be original. For example, you couldn't extend the wings of an Easy Star since the design is already on the market. It has to be an all original design and just changing the wing area does not make it your original design.

You can PM me what you are thinking I'll let you know if it will meet the intent of this contest.
