sweet !

the two planes that come to mind when i think of him are the spruce goose and that sweet little twin fuse with the counter rotating props that he crashes in "the Aviator "

Oh its none of those well it is a goose, but remember when he floats in for the movie part on a seaplane? Its kinda like that but with a body of a spruce goose. I think steve has built the counterrotating one before sweet plane...

but yeah the one i built is a great little flyer, now just have to get a video its a smooth flyer, it flies itself lol

Yeah basically the wing is being held up by struts its not attached to the body. THe engine is mounted on the leading edge of the wing(have to protect prop its my last one)

its wingspan is about 48ins with a 7in chord. Lenght is 30ins its like a flying boat but with an open canopy and has skewer sticks to hold the wings... ahh man sorry i did this lol already gave away what i built. It still needs to be painted.

Hey Muroc, my dollar store foamboard L-19 bird dog has all the requirements....Rudder steered, it's powered by one of Jeff's 2410-09 90W outrunner on a small 900mh 2cell lipo and flys just great
Man...almost missed your contest here! GreenAce told me about a build contest a while back but I didn't listen......this plane was built during the end of last month, maidened, and has had a new pilot at the sticks a few weeks ago.....no vid of that unfortunately BUT there is a thread on WF discussing his successful flight....eligible? I have one video of it's 2nd flight to share with you and here are a couple a pics.

Hi Jacob.....I re-read the rules on pg1 and didn't see where the builder was supposed to be a secret, where is that?
Seems strange.....why?
