Default How to add an Avatar

To create an avatar one needs to have the picture saved in a file or the URL to that photo. The file limitations are 80x80 or 9.6kb (whichever is less)

To add that file as your avatar simply click on the link called "My Wattflyer" at the top of every page (see step 1 image). That takes you to your User Control Panel. On the left are a list of things to edit. One of them is "Edit Avatar" under Settings & Options. Click on that link. (see step 2 image)

From here it should be fairly self explanatory. But you basically select the custom avatar option and tell the site the URL of your avatar or, if you have it stored in a file on your computer, tell it where the file is. The browse button makes this very easy. Once that is done, you have your avatar. (see step 3 image)

If the avatar is stored on a server, then enter the entire URL in the upper box (must be formatted as http://www. ) If the URL address ever changes, then your avatar will be lost unless you update the address.

For visual instructions, please click on the photos.
