Default Posting problem

I just put a post on the Molt Hellcat thread in Kit and Scratch Built Models, and it disappeared. The main menu shows the last post by me though. I have left the forum and reloaded, and the problem still exists.

I also just posted in a Foam Availability thread there. I post pics with captions, but when I go back, even after page reloads, they are not all there.

I had to clear all my IE settings including cookies, and then log in, then log in a second time, now it seems to be working...

As of now, IE seems ok, but not Firefox. I have not updated the most recent Firefox either. I updated to the second to most recent a few weeks back or so. I don't know if I should, or shouldn't update to the latest. Thanks for the links K. I'll look tomorrow, as I need a brain break at the moment. Hopefully a site-wide statement will be posted, to let us know what problems and fixes there are. I'm not accusing WF either, as this may be a Firefox issue. Just like to know wha's going on.

I think I have been fortunate because I don't believe that I have had any problems today at all... My fingers are crossed just in case..

I'm still getting problems too.. IE8...

half the time I log in, go to a page to post, and it asks me to re-login, then after I do, it kicks me back to login again...

I use Google Chrome. No problems at all. A simple and fast Browser I can recommend.

try now. should be fixed. I tweaked a setting this weekend for caching but saw a bug in the config just now.

That seems to have fixed it.

Thanks Marc... Heh. I -knew- it was caching... Maybe I should go back into IT!

{Mike reconsiders that comment... NO!}

ok..I removed the old config which should have got it working. now testing another one so let me know if any further issues with this one. attempting to cache only css, js and images so site is faster after initial load for users.

Looks like a bad cookie - or some of the serialized bits aren't going through as they should?

I cleared my Cache and Cookies on FF 3.6.5 and other than the initial problem when I had to login again it didn't appear to log me on but actually it did, I just had to click on another link (in this case My WattFlyer) ad my session was authenticated, and I was again able to see my subscribed threads under My Wattflyer like normal.

The subscribed threads are not updating, however. even after I click a link in My Wattflyer to read a post, next time come back to the My Wattflyer page the threads still show as unread.

Odd is this.
