I bought myself a new Mini Ultra Stick. Does that count?

Several models, six Esskay 400XTs and matching G/P ESCs, ten E-Flite servos, one FMA PS2 power supply and a whole bunch of e-propellers. All in all, it was a Very Merry Christmas! :p

An AXI 2826/10 outrunner, CC60 amp esc. and a set of Quick Japan carbon fiber 550mm main blades. I am a happy heli guy today! Or maybe thats a guy with a happy heli.. Either way works for me!
And all the materials to make a new vacuum forming table.
hope everyone has a safe and prosperous new year!
Regards,
Jay

I got gift certificates. Now I have to decide what to spend them on. And my dad is building me a new 3' deep by 14' long bench for my shop. No more working on the bed and now I can start some big projects.

Heard that from many a hobbyist on the "cold heat" soldering iron. Somehow all that have used it wind up with "cold" solder joints.

Look at your LHS's demise as a fire sale in the making. Not a good thing because you are losing them and their service, but good because of the bargains to be had before they are gone!

I planned on keeping Christmas low-key this year and didn't ask for anything hobby-related/expensive, so I was pleasantly surprised to receive a WHOLE LOTTA gift certificates to my favorite hobby shop. I've been looking into those 1/18 scale micro cars to keep occupied in the winter between building sessions, but couldn't justify the acquisition costs......so, last night I went to the LHS and walked out with an RC18MT and a spare battery, and I've still got money to spend there!
