Love the nerf whistles but they are expensive if you have to buy a ball to get them.

Not really. Buy the ball and play with it for a while. That way, you'll get the full utility from the purchase.-LOL Don't feel bad. I'm cheap too. I was once accused of going to McDonalds, buying a hamburger and bringing my own cheese. HA

Play??? Hey! I'm nearly 68 !!!

Going to McDonalds you need to take your own cheese as most of theirs is squished out into the wrapping.

Man it's like Christmas this week. Have the new/used Super Airliner wrapped up, just about. Still have to add the passenger windows/door stickers.

Yesterday my Me 262 showed up, today I'm supposed to get my Hobby King order, and Friday my order from Callie Graphics should be coming.

Default New WACO

Haven't been here in a while, but just finished this Dynam WACO. I wrapped it with Oracal vinyl film and used Callie Graphics decals to create this Travel Air stand in.

Yeah, and we're horse owners now. That's were ALL my time and money goes now.

Anyway, I got back from the maiden a while ago and... wow! This plane is GOOD! You may have guessed I'm a bit of a 3DHobbyshop fanboy, but this plane give my 3DHS planes a run for the money. This is my first Redwing plane but definitely not my last. Flies like it's on rails!

Don't mention horses ... nearly led to divorce in my house ...

When the old fella was mercifully put down - wife dug up my prize strawberry patch to bury it in ... Why there ? We have 3.5 acres of ground round the house ...

Strawberries never recovered from it ... old boy was buried 4m down ..... took a JCB to dig the hole.

75 Euros for the Vet
100 Euros for the JCB Excavator.

Needless to say I was not at home at the time ...

Nigel, look at the bright side. She could have left the body for you to deal with when you came home.

Anywho, somewhat new plane related. Got my new Me 262 started. And it's more of me being different again. Had a pair of 66mm fans from one of the Airliners. 3 blade units.

Also had the stock GWS 6 blade fans and shrouds that came with the 262. Hmm, I wonder. Well that led to this. Fitted the 6 blade fans to the Eflite shrouds, and removed the vanes and motor mounts from the GWS shrouds. And now have a nice lipped intake tube for the EDF's. Bonus as it moves the fans backwards for better balance. Just need to make up some exhaust tubes to wrap that part up.

Oh and gotta say, GWS has come a long way in quality. Foam is smooth as a baby's behind. Not like what I remember. And the shrouds were made from heavy plastic, with a really nice finish on them. Quite an improvement!

That's a beautiful looking plane! I have a Dynam Waco, but mine's boring-looking and mostly stock. What kind of film is that? Self-adhesive? Heat activated? Shrinky?

Maidened the E-Flite Sukhoi Gen2 today. Great flying plane. Posted a build and flight review under General forum. It's a keeper

I bought one of these dummy motors and stuck a decent sized motor on it. It will swing a 12x6E easily. (3S)
Just gotta think of something to put it in now. I will probably do a balsa low winger of some sort.

Yours doesn't look stock

The film I use is self adhesive. I buy it by the foot at http://www.uscutter.com/ORACAL-751-C...oot-Continuous

dahawk.
My mate and I have a full on scam running at the moment. The club guys think I am going to nitro and are cheering. We have been feeding them photos but the big reveal is about to come. Some of the comments have been outstandingly funny because they think I am converting. Just wait'll they find out in the next day or so.
We started it off by showing a pic just of me holding the motor.
This is the pic about to be sent to them all very shortly.
