Ignorance is bliss. I run Mozilla and everything has been running just as smooth as always for me.

I'm running FF 3.5.6 with no problem. I also just checked IE 8.0.7600 64 bit version and no problem there either.

Maybe I am the only one being tracked. I might be on someone's list on RCU. No gripes with WF though. If true, NoScript is foiling that plan for them.

Added *google* to ACL on the router and everything is fine without "noscript" running. I do not like being watched even if the searcher thinks it is harmless. Shouldn't take 45 seconds just to count a visit and it seems only show up on my systems when accessing RCU sites.

Paging forward with ease on this side of the world. Comcast here also. They installed new lines this past summer, so the connectivity is much better, ever waay out here in the skeeter weeds :o.

Nothing sneaking around google or anything out of place, as far as my spyware programs can see. thanks for the heads up dbcisco, hopefully it will cure itself and you can move onward.

It is 6:36 am pac time, the lines get strained around 8:30ish am, then again around 4:30pm (weekdays). Sun am is the best/least traffic here it seems. Folks in hangover mode, sunday lazy day. Take your pick.

Thanks for the inside look at goggle Josh, interesting stuff.

the code on rcu and wf is same as it has been for many years regarding google stats. it is the only way we know how many visitors, page views, where people go most on the sites, etc.

I thikn as you said your router must have been blocking something and thus it was hanging and timing out.

Also nobody is really "watching you". your info in our stats is anonymous and aggregated.

No other users on either site have reported a problem with this. Between WF and RCU that is over 100,000 users daily and no issues. I've tested myself as have others here in this thread on both ff and ie with no delays or issues
