Default Looking for 10V 1100 mAh battery in Dallas, TX area!

hi all,

i bought a remote control car for my son the other day and suspect that the battery (lead acid) is dead. does not recharge. i need to find a 10V 1100 mAh battery in the Dallas, TX area. Anyone know where i can go to get this? I found one NiCd online, but rather pick it up locally. If there is a 10V battery with more than 1100 mAh, that of course, would be fine.

someone please confirm this: it would be okay to get a battery pack that is slight higher Voltage than what the device requires, correct? such as a 10.8V with at least 1100 mAh? Or will a 9.6 V be fine, though just slightly below?

10.8 or 9.6 should both be in a safe range for a replacement. dont go too much higher on the voltage unless you are sure that the motor is rated to handle it. any LHS in the dallas area should be able to hook you up no problem.
