Lot's of brushless conversions have been done on these. A Park 450, 480 or equivelant works great in these. I ran mine on a Park 450 with a 3S, 2200 mAh lipo. It flew great. A 480 equivelant would haul the mail.

I'm still flying mine with a Park 480 up front. The extra weight of the 480 over the 450 helps with the CG. Excellent flight performance too.

Yeah Cap. I use a Heads Up 450 in mine. You could go up to a 480 if you wish. Marty

This is old info, but remember to reinforce the foam at the aileron control horns--- the horns eventually pull through--- I was lucky flying with only one aileron
