Default Security of those extension leads !!

Sometimes we have short ends to extensions to save all that loose wire ... and then we run risk of losing ends in the wing / fuselage ... well a simple solution :

Small pieces of string to tie the ends to ... so you always have something to pull that end back out again !!

Don't do it ? Bet soon the end disappears !!

Default me got string . . .

for my separate aileron servo-in-wing I run strings from servo to center exit - string stays with wing, one end attached to servo mount, other end to a cleat in center exit - tape end of lead to it and pull. When all hooked up I wind loose string around little cleat.

I have used zip ties to hold my short ones like that on a few planes.

Tried rubber bands. They worked good at first but got brittle over time.

I do the weighted string bit to get through wing for servo leads - but after installation cut the string to short and fix at centre .... no need to have all that string stay. If you do remove servo later - a new bit of string to go through wing is small price.
