Default Tx to pc interface

I just rummaged through my old stuff, and found a transmitter from a chinese heli.
Since i will be flying heli soon, I wanted to practice on pc , with Heli-X .

I was thinking of using this tx as a joystick .. can someone tell me how do i make this happen? coz the tx doesnt have any pc board and PIC based interface is eminent.

That's an infrared transmitter not a radio TX and most of those have switched sticks not analog pots.

I've never seen one that can be converted to use with a simulator....though I suppose yours just might be the exception .

You are out of luck. No conversion possible.
Get a USB TX is the easiest way.
