Motor for E-flite BAe Hawk 15 DF ARF
OK, I just bought an
E-flite BAe Hawk 15 DF ARF!!!
Is there a motor and fan as well as esc and battery on hobbyking.com that will work with this plane. I dont want to spend the extra $$$$ for e flite crap and thunderpower batteries. I dont know much about the electric stuff so any help would be great like understanding the 3200kv stuff??? Thanks a ton

An old posting-- but it appears that Hobbyking/Hobbycity/United Hobbies do not have anything to suit the power requirements for this model.
Try R/C Castle at http://rc-castle.com/shop/index.php
They carry more EDF dedicated stuff.
The Lander Technology "68mm Special Metal EDF Unit 4S High Speed Version" is the closest match. The unit includes the motor.
However the Lander Fan housing does not have the mounting lugs on the outer casing that the E Flite Delta V fan has, so you would have to come up with an alternate method of securing the fan unit inside the fuselage.
