PUSHER Float Plane
#1

Saw this "Challenger" float plane at the EAA "AirVenture" ultralight/sport plane area yesterday. I was fascinated with the short length of the floats and the angle the wing and motor. Evidently the floats do not need to extend as far forward as "tractor" planes, that need the floats in front of the prop.
Very interesting concept, but could not find anyone that could explain the float positioning.

Maybe the CG is farther back on the floats? or does my answer even make sense?
it is cool though i like it, im starting to get into float planes but need to get a dummy set of electronics to test out in water.
nice find!
