Yes they are discontinued. I found mine on E-bay. But you will probably end up paying arouna hundred bucks or so for a plane that used to cost $79!!
If you can find one, I'd get it. That 450 goes great with that plane. And they float forever! Deadstick landings are a non-issue.

I can't even find info on them, so if you had some or pics that would help. Do you think a 480 is too big for it?

The 480 will fly the P-47 with big power.

You can buy a P-47 HERE.

It's always great to see new faces.

I retired my simplestik last year. Well, the movers helped. The packers busted it during our last move. I took all of the gear off of it and installed it on a cheap balsa replacement.
