Story not over yet.
Rest of the cattle story. The young BULLs love to play with my run up stands. Have to replace them ever so often . But that is the way it is flying in the pasture.
BUT NO THREES.
Now , I do have a little problem with buzzards. Have had a couple go after my plane. But most of the time, they just come in close, take a look and move on.
Then there are the many swallows that build nest under near by bridge. They realy get after the RC some times. Must be when they have young in the nest.
Last. It is the GOFFERS . They love to drill their holes in my field.
All and All, having a great time. The R/C field is still work in process. Having fun

I have seen groundhogs undermine concrete and tarmac so
I bet the gophers will to ?
A groundhog is just a big gopher in our part of the world !!
They are just as destructive maybe even more so but at least they
do not live in a big heard .

Nice and easy. When I first flew it I did not have the cowl on. It did not want to keep flying straight and would go into either a left or right turn as if the rudder had been moved quite a bit. Now with the cowl on it no longer turns and flights straight. Guess cowl smoothed the airflow.

Looks good Degreen
The cowl was a great advancement on the byeps and carried through to all
planes after they started to use them , it makes the front end a lot more streemlined
and you found what they did about the slipstreem !!
Crash how far are you on the 51D ?
I know it will look good but the flying is the real test for any plane !!

Not bad Crash !
I am stuck on the Could Be II I seem to be at a lose to get the servos and bat. set up and get the CG right ?
I don't know if it's me or the plan ??
But it seems the fuse length is off some compared to any of the bats or micro servos I have ??
I don't like chopping my pushrods and it seems like I will have to to get it flyable ?
Maybe i should back off this one for a while and come back to it later .

Ok did the maiden this morning on the P-51 and got her tweaked.
She fly's like a P-51 for sure, it goes where you point it and does nice rolls and loops
and knife edge banks.
I am happy with this one.

I have 6 sets of controls for my builds and right now i am using all of them.
If i want to build an other plane now i will either have to crash one or rob the parts from one.
