Well...
That link took me to a story headlined:
"Bomb kills nine in Cairo Suburb as Police Raid Hideout"

The people hunting the terrorists have to be right 100% of the time...

The terrorists just have to get lucky once in a while.

That's if all the civilized people on the planet cooperate in trying to track down the terrorists.

That particular story looks like the police were trying to take down a group of terrorists and it went bad...
But they probably prevented something worse.

Strange ... should have taken you to :

http://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/...reaper-drones/

But even edited - it doesn't !

The story was :

'Mysterious fault downs Reaper drones' on MSN site.

Yes that one works.

But to me some parts of the story don't add up.

"It said that electrical faults have caused 20 Reaper drones to be destroyed or to suffer at least $2m (1.4m) in damage in the last year - the worst annual toll ever."

"In one incident, documents obtained show that a $3.8m (2.6m) Predator drone crashed near Kandahar because the pilot did not realise she had been flying the aircraft upside down."

If the Predators cost $3.8m, and I think they are smaller than the Reaper, how could 20 crashed / damaged drones be only $2m

And every picture I see show the cameras are on the bottom of the planes, I don't see how you would not know you were upside down, besides the fact that elevator and rudder are reversed, I think she would have noticed that.

Wow, and they want to regulate guys like me flying a simple rc toy los in a field in the boonies while I read stuff like this - lovely.

Since 2001, more than 400 large US military drones have crashed.
Military drones have slammed into homes, farms, runways, highways, waterways and, in one case, an Air Force C-130 Hercules transport plane in midair
In one incident, documents obtained show that a $3.8m (2.6m) Predator drone crashed near Kandahar because the pilot did not realise she had been flying the aircraft upside down.

Another crashed because the pilot pressed the wrong button on his joystick
Maybe they need to hire that Trappy guy to fly for them, he seems quite skilled and much more competent than their pilots lol.

Obviously there's a lot of 'editorial hype' and rubbish there .... but even if its half true ... its downright incredulous !

Given the price tag on these as well !

Sounds to me like someone forgot to do a pre-flight check. That's RC 101, maybe they should ask us to fly their machines instead?
