Thumbs up A little beyond Estes Rocket motors

On a trip to Dallas TX. in Aug. 2013 I had to find every model shop I could.

This is what I found in a Remote Control Hobbies shop.
The shop is now unfortunately closed.

I will let the pictures speak for themselves, other than to say the plane is enormous and very impressive.

Sorry that most of these are pictures of pictures, and not perfectly focused.

That is neat just tried looking for a video of this taking off no luck, but I did find this gallery of pics. http://bellx-2.com/photoalbum/x2-flying-model

He flew a rocket powered SR-71 also at warbirds over Texas same thing launched like a rocket, and glided down.

Wow! That's awesome! Thanks for sharing it. Love the x-planes, and to build one that can launch like a rocket? Amazing!

Gramps, I googled sr-5 and I only got trucks, planes, and one SAM. I tried 'airplane SR-5' and got Stinsons and SR-71's. Any guidance?
