The Suburban R/C Barnstormers and the White Pines Golf Dome invite you to six months of warm, indoor, wind-free, Radio-Controlled, AMA flying this winter. Season is from November 1st through April 25. We’re open every Friday and Saturday night from 11:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Multi-Rotors, heli’s, airplanes, 72MHz, and new pilots are all welcome.
NightHawk is for Women, Men, Girls, Boys, Veterans, Seniors, and brand new pilots!
FEES: Your Best Buy is a $150 Season Pass. A single night’s flying is $15. But, if you buy a Dome Discount Card for $10, then that whole season you just pay $10 nightly.
White Pines Golf Dome is located just southwest of Chicago’s O’Hare airport, at 500 W. Jefferson St. (3rd Ave.), 60601, in Bensenville, Illinois. Check for Dome Flying Rules, or call Stan Warden at 630-654-8476, or just stop in to watch and ask questions of our pilots and your Nighthawk host. Call Stan to set up an appointment for training, help to set up your aircraft, or to get answers to most RC questions!
(For indoor GOLF, see for directions and golfing info.)
Student pilots can train without an Academy of Model Aeronautics card under the guidance of an AMA pilot using a “buddy box”. (Or during special student pilot times you request with an experienced pilot as your trainer.) Remember, those under 19 years of age as of July 1 can apply for a FREE AMA membership and insurance, and it’s easily done via snail mail. Go to for Youth membership signup info, Park Pilot Rules, etc.
To see a video of what it’s like to actually FLY in our Gigantic Dome, go to and type “GOLF DOME (pages 1& 5)”. For more info, search, or,, or
For questions about any NightHawk Indoor Park Flying, contact Stan Warden at [email protected]
