I feel like "I am legend" walking around in some apocalyptic ghost town of a world I used to know.

And there maybe some truth to that.

How are you doing? Haven't seen you online for a while.

The last post in this thread before you was in 2012, so there is a ghost town feeling to this combat thread.

Doing just fine. I still have those fine work benches and have upgraded them with really nice drawers and one with a galvanized metal top. I wish I had a larger shop. They now make one that they can deliver onsite that is about 50% bigger than mine.

Are you still building stuff?

No I haven't messed with RC since before my back surgery in 2012. My boy just turned 8 and is starting to show interest. We got him a RC car and a cheap drone for Christmas. Should of bought 2 of each though cause I can't wait to play with them.

Well it is not too late. How can you teach him to fly the drone without practicing first. And of course, you will have to race the cars, so tomorrow, you had better get them before they are gone.

Tell her congrats. And the kids to get older as do we. We have eight great grandkids, ranging from one to thirteen. That makes this time of the year interesting.

Smoke I have the same feeling. It seems that Combat has gone by the way side around the Muncie area also. Things have seemed to stop around 2012-2013. I guess we are getting a little older going on (67) and seems to have more things on our plates now a days. Even the AMA flying site not much going on except the Nats and big Quad Races. Built a 1/2 dozen Mini Gremlins increased the fuselage to 1/16 ply seemed to help to stiffen things up a little. They fly great.I had 3 fullsize Gremlins I converted to electric. Powerup 25 speed, 60 esc, 3000 -3cell flies 3 1/2 minutes also flies great. It wa good to hear some chatter on the forum. Everyone have a nice Xmas and safe New Year.
