LOOKS GREAT!! BTW: got your pilots....very nice molds. Now I have something for one of my brothers to do, while he recoups from a stroke. He is a good painter, will be a challenge for him now. Thanks so much for them and the other items...all will be made to good use.

Some of those pilots are german so when you get an Eflite Fokker DVII be sure and put one in it. (I do not have an Eflite Fokker DVII yet) HAHA

I'll see how they fly when he gets finished painting them..He is doing a great job with these. Very nice mold. Will drop the Brit pilot in the tiger moth, OWAIT.....you already have a TM turned FRENCHY.
I might get bold and drop one in the BRISTOL, NOW I have ya excited right!

Wouldn't it be great to get all the guys and planes on the WW1 forum in one field? I can't imagine what we would see and learn. Would have to have some professional video crew film it all. I think it would be down right amazing. Bet someone we know on here would bring a trailer to carry back broken planes..and rebuilt an entire air force.

#4433

Just let me know where to bring the trailer. I will supply the trash barrels. I will also bring my high priestess to hex, opps, bless all the planes.
I am starting my Eflite SE5A. Making it into one of the night fighters.

Dag on wind is just too much today. Flew a sailplane and specked out once but way to much wind for the fighters. Just got in the mail today a WACO CG4 Troop glider, Made by dumas. Going to work on that awhile, and see if I can slip light gear in her. Use the Tiger Moth to tow her up.

A transmitter in each hand? I have some of my RC ships set up with 2 ships on a transmitter one on left stick and one on right stick, so I can run 2 at one time but fly 2 at a time, no way. Guess you will have to teach wife to fly. Then give her a WW1 plane, when she gets mad at you go have a dog fight.

DON"T DO IT! NO WITCHES ALLOWED IN MY HOBBY!
I can just hear them say or the Next thing you'll get is: I don't like the color, or maybe you should get in touch with your feminum side, or the DREADED : How much did it cost? You don't NEED THAT! AAAAAAAAAAIIIIEEEEEEEEEEE it's too much to think about!

"What's that?"
"Oh, just a little thing (small box with 4 servos, a motor, and an esc) I ordered for my plane."
#4438

If you buy your wife a plane, it is going to cost about 10 times as much than if you bought the plane for yourself. Honey, the wind is blowing a little and I need a new hat cause I do not have one that matches the color of the plane. Now I need a scarf to match the hat, then purse, then shoes. OHOH I crashed the plane and my new one is a differant color so I need-------.

Go figure...broke my record flying my little micro. I got 12 mins on the battery today, a little breeze and tried to keep her at 3/4 throttle. 130mah lipo usually gives me about 8 maybe 9 mins. I didnt even crash today...!! Hope everyone else had great patrols. BTW: This thing is way to much fun to fly. Gonna try to fly through the front door and out the back one of these days

All you WWI airplane junkies LISTEN UP. I bought an old paper back book in a flea market. Flyin Aces of World War I printed 1971. I would like to send this book to someone else that would like to read it then pass it on at no cost. First person to post here saying they would like to read the book will get it. After you finish reading the book post here to pass it on to next reader.

DeGreen: The pilot came with the plane (voodoo clean)!!!! I have another plane I am going to put your pilots in. I'll let ya know if they crash!! BTW:
Do you want a fuse to a Bristol scout? I need to keep the wings. I have a modified cowling and gear for it. Tailfeathers are good.
The D.III is perfect for keeping in your car, the carrying case holds everything snug. Sure do not need much room to fly her.

Sure I will take the Bristol Scout. Can you draw me a pattern around the wings? What are you going to use the wings on? Now I need to look for a paint scheme for it. I heard my Mom tell someone a long time ago that I made the nicest looking planes and painted them terrible colors. I was making WWII planes at the time so now I look for bright paint schemes for my planes.
#4448

I actually have a wing (1) I can send you. They are identical wings, so you will only need to make one. The wings I have on there now have been modified, I want to use them on a foam scratch Iam going to build this winter. As soon as get back to Delaware, I'll pack her up!

#4449

So yesterday I crashed my Great Planes Nieuport 11 (sorry De I am rebuilding it myself) and for my rebuild I need to take the ailerons off. How can I get those CA hinges out? The one good thing about having to recove it is I can change the color!
