New Blade CX3 in MD 520N attire. Other than the new body, does anyone know of any improvements over the CX2? HH Gyro? The Gyro in my CX2 is pretty aggressive, but I can't discern b/w HH and Rate.

From what I can see from the E-F web site it's a CX2 with a very pretty new shell. They mention the same TX and RX as the CX2. Not much else they can (or should) monkey with.
They might have gone with digital servos by now though.

No the 4-in-1 was for the original CX2. The second version of the CX2 comes with a separate RX and 3-in-1.
The new CX3 has the same AR6100e RX as the second gen CX2 but now has a 3-in-1 with built in heading hold gyro as opposed to the older versions with a rate gyro.

A head holding gyro in the CX sounds like a great idea. The gyro on the CX2 worked ok - except that you had to continually tweak the trims as the battery wore down.
I think this change will make the heli a lot easier for beginners, with not having to chase the nose all the time.
Now if they could just do that with the MCX...

Interesting... So, if the CX2 and CX3 are the same (with the exception of the body), I wonder if they will discontinue the CX2?
Is the CX discontinued?
I would have liked to see brushless motors in the CX3... :o
