Default Privately held Airplane boneyard back up east....

I hope this is not too far afield as it’s about real airplanes; from time to time I have gotten photos of bits and pieces of planes that are just stashed on a farm or similar country acreage. I think the man that owns them or did own them has a name that begins with “E.” I think he has or had a B-25, F7U Cutlass and numerous parts of A-1s and even a B-17. Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Hey I moved this to off topic since it is not about R/C.

Here is a link with lists of different aircraft boneyard facilities. may not be what you are looking for though

Thanks Bill.

This is not a "facility" it's just an airplane version of all the junk cars you see piled up around various crummy homes out in the country. It's overgrown, wild, quite a mess. But this individual has some good stuff that others will hopefully restore some day in proper museums.

For years near Cameron, TX a fella had a couple of junk B-25’s on his property. I think about 25 years ago he passed and someone maybe the CAF ? hauled them off, i don’t remember the details.
I wish I had the $$ but if someone can manage to buy a timed out or lightly crashed Metro III or 23 for parts you won’t be sorry. There’s still about 450 still actively flying but parts are getting hard to find.
