10 -15% of the wing chord back from the leading edge sounds very nose heavy to me for a conventional wing although it can depend on the wing section.
The major problem of flying 'fast' is what is likely to happen when it comes into land.
Try to slow down too much and control can be lost with a big crash. Too fast and things just get broken when it actually touches the ground.
As 25% is normally considered a safe starting point my own view would be anything further forward than 20% would likely run into one or more of the above issues.
